Fuel Technology Saves Petrol

The following Test speaks for itself:

Frankly, I thought that these tablets were a bunch of crap !! . I was encouraged to trial it anyway. I mean with a 30 day money back guarantee and SABS & EPA validation that the product contains no harmful materials for engines and a company blanket insurance of $2 000 000 for any damage caused - what did I have to lose ?

Having been a business owner in the technical problem solving arena for over 20 years, I am always sceptical about claims of benefits..... unless I can prove it for myself.

So before I am prepared to back any product I want to see results for the conditions that I use my vehicles for.

Test Vehicle Details & General Driving Methods
For business purposes, I use a 2nd hand 2005 VW Chico 1.4 standard with 72 000 km on the clock, which hasn't seen a service for the last 25 000 km's.

The car is driven with the windows down and most travel is done in traffic with short distances of 30 km between towns. We live in a mountainous area with lots of hills and passes. The car is usually also loaded with at least 100kg of additional business related equipment.

The vehicle is filled 10km past the warning beep on the reserve tank so that we have a fairly accurate start point. We use 95 Octane unleaded petrol used at sea level as we are based near Cape Town, South Africa. On fill-up the cash slip is marked with the odometer reading and the km travelled at fill-up. Fuel Technology MPG Recommended Dosage
Recent company research done in South Africa has determined that the amounts to be used with our petrol is as follows:

Small Cars up to 20 liter Top-ups................ 1/4 capsule only
Small cars 21 liter to 50 liters .....................1/2 capsule only
Medium sized cars 51 to 80 lieters...............1 capsule

Test Results Key & Guidelines
It would be very easy to thumb suck a bunch of figures with matching claims so I am attaching the actual Cash Slips provided by the relevant filling Station at the time the tanks was filled.

Let me explain how the mileage is derived. At the pump the mileage covered is written on the slip with the odometer reading at that time. Fuel loaded now will only reflect the mileage covered at the next stop. That means that the 54.05 liters loaded on 3 November 2008 yielded 560.50 km in mixed conditions of some town & country driving giving a result of 10.37 km/l

The 1st fill-up using 1/4 cap was done on 27th November and 17.15 liters yielded 225.8 km country driving of 13.17 km/l
The 2nd fill-up was done on 3 December using 1/2 cap for 28 liters which yielded 385.50 km of town & traffic drivinng for 13.77 km/l
The 3rd fill-up was done today of 20 liters and the results will be published at the next stop.

The company claims that an improvement of between 7 -15% will be seen after the 3rd tank but ......... my results so far show me a 32.78% increase for the way that I drive ! .

At the time I wasn't that interested in the emissions savings as it doesnt directly affect my pocket, but the consumption improvement is what really makes me take notice. Little did I know at the time that Air Pollution Rules were on the way and time will show how effective this product is

My Feelings about the Product So far
With these results I have no hesitation in recommending this product and will certainly use it consistantly from now on.

The vehicle seems to run smoother and the engine is quieter. On hills I seem to have more power at lower revs but I can't prove that with figures

*** Please note that the chart shows 385.50 for the last tank while the slip shows 390.07. That is because when the reserve sounded I added 10km to the nearest filling station which was in fact further than that. So to keep the records accurate I did not add the additional 4.57 km

FFI Fuel caps can safely be used for any engine that uses combustion chambers such as diesel vehicles, commercial trucks, petrol mowers, boats, jetski's, go karts, motorcycles etc.
